Unfortunately, on March 19, the building where our studio is located, St. Joseph’s Center in North Little Rock, had a catastrophic fire. St. Josephs is a huge 55,000 square ft building that was built a century ago. There was a lot of damage to the roof, chapel, and upper floors. Our studio is located in the basement, and we are hopeful most of it is intact. However, the structural integrity of the building has been compromised, so we will not be able to work there. Tomorrow, all our equipment and materials will be moved out, and for the first time in a month we will be able to assess the damage. Regardless, we will no longer have a studio until the building is repaired or we find another studio location. We have no idea how long that will be.
